It’s no secret that I love abstract art. There’s something about it that scratches an itch in my brain. Perhaps I go back to a time when I could put every color of the rainbow in a picture, & it became a displayed masterpiece in my house. I didn’t become the Picasso of my generation, but I’m still a magpie for color which is how I discovered Haya Halifa on Instagram. Her paintings are abstract, colorful, & such a beautiful representation of Jewish culture & traditions. Before you dive into Haya’s world of color, I recommend you keep an eye out for “Jerusalem Gold Morning,“ my personal favorite from her current body of work. π
