What Baking Can Do

The internet can be an awful place, but every once in awhile I’m reminded why it’s also a very magical, special place. Remember this name: Adrian Matthew Escalona. In September 2018, Adrian’s mom Irish posted a video of him singing “She Used to be Mine.” The video went viral, & in October of that same year, he was invited to sing onstage after a Waitress show. This moment in time captured on video is why I love music. The emotion & power that Adrian has at such a young age is a picture of the beautiful art that comes from one’s own heart & life experiences. This is a glimpse at a very bright future. I can feel it! ✨

*Note: If you only have the patience to watch this performance once, go with the 2nd video because you can see the entire cast’s reactions. If you’re a brave soul & can press play again through the tears, watch both versions. Worth it! ♥️
