Welcome to day 2 of NYFW 2019! Today’s featured illustrator is Caroline So, a Southern California girl living her dream in New York. I’ve used “Barbie” as an adjective to describe illustrations before, but I swear Caroline’s characters really do remind me of Barbie dolls, especially her illustration of 60s, pixie cut Mia Farrow (2nd image down below). Actually, they look like more than just dolls. These girls are jetsetters, ready for whatever adventure lies just around the corner. The last thing I want to mention is Caroline’s Instagram username & signature. Some of her work is marked by IfEden which refers to her personal motto “Living as if Eden were on earth.”

🍃 Disney Fans: Doesn’t this NYC girl look like Pocahontas with a bob?? I could cry from how happy the resemblance makes me! 🍂
