Every year I possess the difficult task of choosing the opening act for a new year of art & artists. For 2018, I didn’t have to look very far. If you haven’t heard of The Greatest Showman, you’ve been living under a rock. This musical is Hugh Jackman’s passion project, and the cast & crew have been working their tails off promoting it. I have yet to see the film, but the soundtrack has been on repeat for days. Most of the music I listen to is show tunes so I get extremely attached to certain musicals. It’s hard for me to open my heart to something new, but every once in awhile I take a leap of faith. I would highly recommend this soundtrack to those of you who share my musical tastes. To get you started, here are two videos that will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Don’t fight it!
