Today’s featured artist is Thomas Blanchard and his psychedelic experimentation with paint. Once you see the magical results, it will be difficult to fathom that the catalysts are as common as cinnamon, honey, milk, oil, & soap. The only way I can describe what you’re about to watch is by listing what popped into my head when I first saw Mr. Blanchard’s work: colorful butterfly wings, organisms in motion, outer space, the ocean tide, and windblown sand. His videos will take you on a soothing journey; one moment you will feel like you’re watching documentary footage from a newly discovered planet, the next you will be immersed in an ethereal science fiction film. Prepare to be mesmerized!
