Before we dive right into the fashion, I want to mention one minor change I am making to my fashion blog posts. I have decided to slowly incorporate male fashion. From now on, I will be adding any male fashion look that catches my eye. Prepare yourselves!!
Don’t forget to stay tuned until the very end to find out my pick for “Best Dressed.” Enjoy!
JULY 12
– Emma Roberts in Tanya Taylor –

I love the 70s vibe of this look! Turtlenecks are definitely not my favorite thing in the world, but the neckline works because there are no sleeves.
JULY 13
– Gal Gadot –

The pieces are simple and easy to find in low-end stores. Casual but still put-together. π
– Jake Gyllenhaal in Tom Ford –

Mr. Gyllenhaal managed to contain the beast and look effortlessly suave in a dark gray suit. Anyone else pumped to see “Southpaw”??
– Rachel McAdams in Zuhair Murad –

Let me get this out of the way: Yes, this dress does look like a giant doily. That being said, Rachel McAdams is gorgeous, and she pulled it off without looking weighed down and/or matronly.
– Taylor Swift in Free People –

This look is soft and ethereal. Taylor looks like a fairy straight out of a mythology storybook!
JULY 14
– Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann –

I have always been skeptical about the “Women in Menswear” trend, but I must admit I do like this particular look. The black jacket, pants, and heels are sleek, the white shirt brightens up Tilda’s face, and the lipstick adds a pop of color and brings out her light eyes.
JULY 15
– AnnaSophia Robb in Giamba –

– Elizabeth Gillies –

The black and white bone pattern is edgy and cool, and the pink lip color and coral heels are nice touches of softness and color.
JULY 16
– Alessandra Ambrosio –

The colors in this maxi dress are beautiful, but this look is all about those accessories: black shades, a cobalt blue purse, and studded sandals. Tres chic!
– Alicia Vikander In Preen –

Once again, I am getting a 70s vibe from this look, especially the colors. The warm, nude makeup is perfect for summer, and the orange in the dress is bringing out Alicia’s tan skin (in a good way).
– Ciara in a Bouchra Jarrar Jacket –

Casual and a little sporty. Perfect for the orange carpet! I also love the pairing of animal print and jeans
– Helen Mirren in L.K. Bennett –

Classy. Need I say more?!
– Kiernan Shipka in Giamba –

Kiernan always wear mature, fashion-forward clothes but manages to still look youthful. This color combo (ballerina pink and mustard yellow) is killer!
– Ryan Newman –

The crop top, asymmetrical skirt, black splatter pattern, and pop of lime yellow is perfect for an event that features an orange carpet and green slime. Can I get an amen?!
JULY 17
– Halston Sage –

The peplum shape of the bodice and the placement of the cutouts (refreshingly restrained) make this dress different enough to stand out. And of course, an LBD would not be complete without a bold red lip. Classic!
Nicole Richie in Etro

The colors in this dress (cerulean blue, dark orange red, mustard yellow, peach, and teal) are stunning; they scream summer music festival. This is the perfect example of being covered up, professional, and bohemian simultaneously.
JULY 18
– Ashley Tisdale –

I cannot believe overalls are a trend right now! I remember wearing them during elementary school. One of the problems with overalls is they can look very juvenile. Ashley’s styling is on point. This monochromatic look is cute but also edgy and a throwback to 90s grunge. Two thumbs up!
The time has come. My pick for “Best Dressed” is……… Ashley Tisdale!! I have been in a really nostalgic mood lately so Ashley had a slight edge, but Taylor Swift is a CLOSE second.
