For those of you who don’t already know, Jonathan Crombie passed away on April 15. For more information, please read the post I wrote on my personal blog: https://laurenmichelepoetry.wordpress.com/2015/04/20/dont-forget-me/

Since this is an art blog, the appropriate thing to do is post some Gilbert Blythe art in tribute of Mr. Crombie. Trust me, there are PLENTY of options on the internet. However, I thought I would do something a little different. I decided to flex my artist muscle and create my own Gilbert Blythe fan art. I will say right here and right now that I DO NOT own any of the images used. Each and every photograph has been cited below my links. I worked all day Monday to create two collages. I sifted through many, many, many pictures and edited everything in Adobe Photoshop. The hours were long, but the project was a labor of love; I am very proud of the result. Without further ado, here is collage #1:

Feel free to share the collages; I do not mind. All I ask is that you give proper credit to me, Lauren Michele. Please and thank you! I hope you enjoyed looking at my little art project. I must admit it felt good to get back into Photoshop and create something. The circumstances surrounding this post are tragic, but I am doing my best to stay positive and honor Jonathan Crombie with joy in my heart.

Last but not least, I want to give my condolences to all of Jonathan’s loved ones. My heart goes out to you, and you are in my prayers.
