Today’s post is a little different. I am spotlighting an artist, but his work inspired me to add a positive message. Vince Low is best-known for his scribble art, sketches made using scribbles. The result is beautiful imagery emerging from chaotic strokes. Perhaps you do not see or feel a deeper message, which is perfectly fine. I cannot help but look at Low’s scribble art portfolio and think of overcoming adversity. The scribbles are unorganized and seemingly endless, but in the midst of it all is a form detailed and recognizable. Something beautiful from something ugly. The amount of dedication, patience, and precision it takes to complete such a project is unimaginable to me. I tip my “hat” to Mr. Low for his mastery of this medium. I leave you with this beautiful & dramatic quote:
“From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.” – J.R.R. Tolkien, “The Fellowship of the Ring”
