I’m back!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful spring so far. Today’s post is an artist spotlight on Bella Pilar. Before designing greeting cards and miscellaneous products, Pilar attended art classes and worked as a makeup artist. She is now known for her fashionista characters made popular by Papryus (“Bella Pilar…”). I cannot even begin to describe why I am drawn to her artwork. I love the character-environment choices, coordinated colors, and illustration style. To me, her designs are a combination of Barbie and cinema.
